The Gorillaz

Last night saw the Gorillaz bring their Escape to Plastic Beach Tour to Adelaide. They put on an amazing two hour set which had everyone dancing around. Goodtimes!

Silversun Pickups

Sitting here doing some work listening to the Silversun Pickupsbrought back some memories. I saw these guys support The Birds of Tokyo a couple of months ago here in Adelaid. The sound mix was terrible but these guys put on a great show!

Parklife hits Radelaide Part One

Yesterday I went to the Adelaide leg of the Parklife Tour to take snaps for dB Magazine. It was a cracking day with great weather and a top layout. There was a great mix of music this year with a bit of something for everyone. Highlights for me were Soulwax, Darwin Deez and New Young Pony Club.

Photos, Photos and More Photos

It's been a busy couple of weeks with the camera. I shot Birds of Tokyo and Silversun Pickups for The Vine which was a killer show. A packed and sold out crowd enjoyed an awesome double act.

I also took photos of Powderfinger for Triple J as part of their farewell tour at Memorial Drive. Head on over to the site to see the shots!

Tomorrow I am off to shoot the Adelaide leg of the mighty Parklife Festival. With fine weather hanging around, good times are sure to be had! Keep an eye out on my site over the next few days for highlights!

Bullet For My Valentine

Last week I took photos of Bullet For My Valentine on their current Australian tour at Thebarton Theatre. It was an epic setup and the crowd were pumped! A massive couple of months of live music coming up in Adelaide so stay tuned!

I recently spent time trying to sort through photos for new business cards from Moo. They are these amazing business cards where you can order multiple photos on your personalised cards within one order. They look very cool and are a great way to carry some of my photos to show anyone who might be interested!

It's amazing how difficult it is to decide which photos you like the most and which photos will be effective when the size of a business card. This is a selection of shots that made the cut.

Something Different

Something a little bit different... I love travelling and returned from a trip back to Nepal and Tibet at the end of January and also visited Cambodia for the first time. These are a few of the images I captured.

Jane's Addiction

Soundwave Part One

Yesterday saw the Soundwave juggernaut hit Adelaide and hit it hard it did. With the strongest lineup of all the festivals this summer there were high expectations for this years event.

With names like Faith No More, Jane's Addiction and Placebo on the bill it was going to be a big day. Big kudos to the Soundwave 2010 organisers for putting on a great festival.

The festival seems to be going from strength to strength and after only three years on the scene is a great addition to the festival circuit. Once again I was shooting for the mighty dB Magazine.

The Biggest Lady in Music...

Last week I shot The Gossip at Thebarton Theatre. They have been talked up a lot over the last year... the crowd at the show were definately into them! Beth Ditto belted out the tunes as she danced her way around the stage. They put on quite a solid show with Beth interacting with the crowd throughout the show.
