Taasha Coates - The AudreysTonight I headed along to the Electric Light Hotel in town to hear about 'Fuse'. Fuse Festival is run in conjunction with the Adelaide Fringe Festival and consists of live music events and two days of seminars and workshops. The other reason for the night was for people to get together and 'network' with other people in the industry along with the opportuity to hear from and chat to Alistair (The Audrey's Manager) and PJ (Hilltop Hoods Manager).
The thing that I really took out of the night was the fact that here in South Australia we really need to build a network and community of like minded people... all interested in helping the SA industry grow and prosper. Indeed, since the Hilltop Hoods and The Audrey's both collected ARIA awards recently, we need to capitalise on what we have here... an amazing music scence that needs supporting!
